Version 1.2 is on the App Store, and it is mostly one feature: you can now record how strong the urge was before a trip. The rest is small improvements for convenience.
How strong was the urge?
In a bladder diary for overactive bladder and leaks the urge is scored before every void — and until now the app could not do that. To use it, turn it on in Settings: Urge rating. After that every output entry gets a Rate urge chip with five levels:
- 0 No urge
- 1 Normal urge
- 2 Strong urge
- 3 Barely made it
- 4 Didn’t make it

Level 4 means urine escaped on the way to the toilet, so it stays attached to the trip it belongs to rather than becoming a separate event your counts have to reconcile.
Not rated is not zero. An entry you did not rate stores nothing at all — the same rule as Not measured for volume. An unrated day shows a dash in the report, not a row of zeros, and averages are taken over the entries that actually carry a rating. A zero in this app always means you chose “No urge”.
Where the rating turns up. Next to the entry in the diary. In the PDF report as two lines — levels 3–4 per day, and level 4 per day — plus a column in the by-day table. In the CSV as a new column at the end, appended rather than inserted, so a spreadsheet or script built on the old export keeps working. If nothing in the range is rated, the report leaves the section out instead of printing an empty one.
Until you turn it on, an entry stays two taps.
A reminder that stops nagging
We look after your attention: a reminder should not turn into background noise. It used to arrive every day at the time you picked, for as long as the app was installed. Now it comes only on days with no entries, and after a week with none it pauses by itself. A diary is kept for three to seven days; a reminder still arriving in month two is just a notification to switch off.

Easy access to yesterday
While today is still empty, the Today screen carries a card with yesterday’s entries, and one tap opens that day. The most common way to lose a diary day is to remember it the next morning.

Also in 1.2
- 12- or 24-hour time, whichever you prefer, in Settings.
- Full iPhone Duo support.
- A large Home Screen widget, alongside the small one and the one on the Lock Screen.
- Four new languages: Polish, Swedish, Czech and Traditional Chinese, bringing the app to fourteen. The PDF report is translated along with the interface; CSV stays in English.
- Faster once a lot of entries have piled up, plus a number of small fixes.
Still true
The App Store privacy label is still Data Not Collected: no account, no server, no analytics inside the app, no third-party code. Entries live on your device and, if you turn it on, in your own private iCloud database — the privacy policy has the details. The app still does not diagnose, does not compare your entries to any norm and does not remind you to drink; the urge rating is a number you entered, and what it means is a conversation with your clinician. Logging, Today, Stats, widgets, Apple Watch, iCloud and CSV export stay free, and Pro is still a one-time purchase rather than a subscription.
